Admission Procedure

If you are considering our school for your child, we would love to meet you. Please phone or email us to arrange a visit. We run visits throughout the year, and are always happy to show our loved and happy school to new families.

We would encourage you to book an appointment to meet our Head Teacher, be shown around the school, and there will be an opportunity to sit down and discuss your child. For the Lower School, we would also hope to introduce you to a Class Teacher and a member of staff who can answer any questions you may have about Steiner education.  For the Kindergarten, visits are usually organised by our Early Years Coordinator. These visits are so important, to give each family time to talk about their child and their needs.

You will find links to our Admissions Policy and Admissions Procedure below, which provide full information on our admissions process and what to do next, should you wish to make an application. There is also a link to our application form below. Do contact us to obtain a full information pack before submitting an application, as this provides a lot of useful information.

Cambridge Steiner School is committed to making every effort to ensure that Steiner Waldorf education is available to all who choose it regardless of religious or cultural beliefs, ability or disability, or social or financial background. Where our classes, kindergartens or Parent & Child Groups are full, you may be placed on our waiting list, which is also governed by criteria which reflect our Equal Opportunities Policy.
